Prince George Education Center (PGEC) serves at-risk students in grades six through twelve. There are currently two distinctively different programs taught during the school day; Project Choice, and Prince George Program of Accelerated Learning (PG PAL).
We are committed to building partnerships with the mainstream schools (JEJ Moore, NB Clements, & PGHS), parents, and the community. We strive to provide a safe, orderly, and healthy environment where students receive specialized instruction and attention. We set high expectations to prepare our students to leave with the skills for being good citizens and contributing members of society.
It is important we build supportive and working relationships with our parents. We ask that all parents remain involved in their child’s education. Parents are encouraged to review the student agenda for announcements and homework assignments. Parents are asked to review progress reports and interim reports with their child. Parent conferences are scheduled at the end of each quarter in order to discuss student progress and receive report cards.
Please take some time to visit our site, and if you have questions please feel free to call us.
